Nazzareno Oberto
CEO
Up until June 1990, Mr. Oberto was Organizational and Systems director at the Miroglio/GVB
fashion house. In 1992, he began directing integrated logistics and information
systems for the men's division of G.F.T. in Turin. From 1993 to 1994, he was a senior
associate of Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA), after which he founded Oberto Consulting,
of which he remains president. He founded ORS in 1996 with Pierluigi Riva. Mr. Oberto
is also President of IBIMEC,
which provides organizational consultation and IT solutions for quality control,
as well as an administrative consultant to the Bank of Alba (Banca d'Alba) and to
Bank Services Associates (Servizi Bancari Associati).
Pierluigi Riva
President
Professor Riva teaches Operational Research at the University of Turin, Faculty
of Economics, as well as Mathematical Methods for business management at the University
of Novara. He received a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of
Economics in 1990, where he also pursued his doctorate in Mathematical Programming.
Dr. Riva has also worked as an assistant to the general management of the Miroglio
fashion house, managing special projects. In 1996 he founded ORS with Nazzareno
Oberto. Dr. Riva oversees research and development at ORS.
Al Hynd
Optimization e Modelling Consultant
Al Hynd provides optimization and modelling consultation exclusively for ORS. He
is president of Advanced Mathematical Software Ltd. Mr. Hynd has a degree in Mathematics
and Physics from Sussex University, and received his Masters degree in Operational
Research from Imperial College in London, where he also conducted research. As a
consultant for Morgan Greenfeld, Mr. Hynd specialized in international corporate
structure and taxation. He has also provided optimization and modeling consultation
to Cap Scientific, SEMA, ORES and MVA. Since 1997, Al Hynd has coordinated development
of advanced optimization tools for ORS.
